Mark Trueman - mark.trueman@advantagecard.com.au Managing Director Mark has been successfully managing his own businesses since 1978. In 1996 Mark set up the first Home Ideas Centre (HIC) that successfully operates in the small population base of Hobart. Shortly thereafter, due to popular demand from manufactures and suppliers, he then set up a second HIC for Tasmania in the northern based town of Launceston. Through this initiative, he not only proved that a Centre could work in a small regional area but they could also become a pivotal point of the Building Industry, as they are in Hobart and Launceston.
In 2004 Mark was involved in the opportunity of developing a Loyalty Program for the Building Industry and Homemakers, as presented by Harbour Business Solutions. As a result of that meeting, it was decided that a separate Company should be formed and Mark to be appointed as the Managing Director so he could oversee the pilot program in Tasmania and then facilitate the roll-out Australia wide, once a proven successful model had been developed.
